: Perhaps the most famous "romantic" storylines come from penguin colonies. In many zoos, keepers track "couples" like
The neighbors were the source of the zoo’s most whispered-about rumor. Separated from Kavi by a heavy service door and a wall of tempered glass was the Okapi enclosure. The occupant was a shy, velvety creature named Muna. She looked like a giraffe designed by a committee that couldn’t agree on zebra stripes.
: Simulating wild social structures encourages grooming, play, and parental care, drastically improving captive animal welfare.
This is a fascinating topic that blends zoology with a bit of "animal soap opera." While animals don't experience "romance" in the human sense of candlelit dinners, zoos often witness incredibly deep bonds, dramatic rivalries, and lifelong partnerships that look a lot like a storyline from a novel. zoo animal sex tube8 com
Dr. Chen first noticed the shift on a damp Tuesday. For 547 days, Kavi had sat motionless on his high branch, ignoring the three females in the adjacent enclosure. His mate, Anjali, had died of a fungal infection. Gibbons are known to grieve; keepers had documented reduced grooming, food refusal, and silence. But today, the new female, Maya, brachiated to Kavi’s perch—a bold move.
At the Sea Life Sydney Aquarium, two male gentoo penguins named Sphen and Magic captured the world's attention. They began bowing to each other—the penguin equivalent of flirting—and collecting pebbles to build a nest together. Recognizing their bond, keepers gave them a foster egg. The duo successfully hatched and raised multiple chicks, demonstrating flawless co-parenting teamwork and remaining inseparable until Sphen's passing. The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet the Otters
Behind the scenes, zoo experts act as high-tech matchmakers using Species Survival Plans (SSP) Genetic "Dating" Apps:
To win a heart, zoo animals display incredible, synchronized talents. These behaviors are vital signs of a healthy, thriving zoo population. : Algorithms analyze DNA to find the best genetic match
Another notable example is the romantic tale of Kamani and Tatu, two African lions who lived at the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium. The two lions were introduced in 2005 and quickly became inseparable, often cuddling and playing together. Their love story was marked by a touching moment when Kamani, the male lion, gently groomed Tatu's injured paw, showcasing the depth of their affection.
Successful bonding leads to breeding, which is essential for species survival plans (SSPs) for endangered animals.

Zoo animal relationships often mirror human romance through lifelong pair bonds, complex flirtation rituals, and deep emotional connections. While modern zoos focus on scientific matchmaking to preserve species, the resulting bonds frequently lead to touching personal stories. Notable Zoo Animal Romance Stories
What happened next was not human romance. It was primate negotiation. Kavi grunted—a low, non-threatening sound. Maya presented her back. He tentatively picked through her fur, finding no parasites. Then, he moved two feet away. She followed. Over three weeks, Lena documented an ethogram of pair formation: synchronous brachiation, shared fig consumption, and finally, on day 24, the full duet. Kavi began the long, rising whoop. Maya answered with the precise descending coda.

Some people like JetBrains IDEs better than Eclipse. It’s really just a matter of personal preference.

Help please. It’ll be great to debug django project through Pycharm, with break points etc. But there is no “Project SDK” option at all in the latest Pycharm Community edition 2019.1.3. Located the project structure menu under File/Settings/project/…, but there is nothing about SDK.

Hi Simon! PyCharm may have changed the verbiage or flow path in the latest versions. Look for something like the Python “interpreter” path and point it to the desired python executable.
(I’m on vacation at the moment and can’t check it myself.)
